Bibliotherapy is a tool that helps us connect the two so that we can understand and recover.

It is often used in conjunction with other types of therapy and therapeutic interventions (ex. Talk therapy, EMDR, CBT) as a way to help facilitate the healing and to achieve goals. Many therapists who use bibliotherapy have a list of books that relate to different issues (such as the one in the Resources section of this website!), but there are also websites online that may suggest or recommend different titles–just keep in mind those ones may not have been recommended by a licensed professional.
